Lots and lots of whiners around, keep saying how useless and shameless is ROC for using bots to defend a castle. I was expecting to see those people to actually turn up at our castle by 7pm, to bring down the bots that they hate the most and to defeat the guild that they hate the most. Unfortunately, I don't even see a fly in Hohen during the start of the war last night. =/

All actions happened at HongLou, a lot of guilds went and touch that sacred emperium that once no one has ever able to bring it down. As I could recall, Mythos, SE, RCN, TLG, AC and CU were spotted in the castle during the heated fight that lasted for 30 minutes. As a supportive class and being a Priest which couldn't take down enemies alone, I stand by the sides of my party members, supported them at HongLou's entrance to take down those who guarded there and stop anyone from getting inside. We managed to clear every single enemies that fought there, so fast that I couldn't remember how much we have killed. I wish I took some nice screenshots at that time, but I was just too busy. =/

Gathering...

After that, we spotted a huge bunch of people gathering in front of our precious castle, it seems that CU and their alliance is ready to fight us. Sadly, only around 10% of the people there actually attempt to fight us and they were taken off in splits seconds by our defending party at the entrance. Without putting in much effort, they just left and flee to other places, leaving us free to go hunting again. =)

Off we go, around ADB and Prontera, looking for guilds to fight with, hunting some food to satisfy our hunger. XD Off and on, we got e-called back to Hohen, after our guild leader spotted enemies in the castle. From inside of emperium room, behind our nice pre-cast, we setup our defense line and get ready for incoming enemies. Disappointed again, the enemies pushing power is still not good at all, all they could do is coming in one by one, tanking the damage from pre-cast and finally die off.

The best attempt of the night goes to RCN, when Demented e-called at the portal before spawning in our emperium room. However, the whole guild that came only lasted for 14 seconds and none of them actually manage to move pass the pre-cast.

After that, we pushed out from the emperium room, take off all enemies in the castle one by one, moving in our own party. It was fun to actually fight a big bunch of people and finally take them all down. XD Although I couldn't fight, but I am really excited to support my guild mates, helping them to take out every single enemy on sight. XD

Finally, at the last 20 minutes, we went to HongLou, defeat all the attacking and defending guilds found and secured the emperium room. We setup our defense line with just 2 parties, while the attack party stayed at Hohen and prepared to attack Squagul later on. We manage to defend HongLou really well, many guilds came in, but we send them all out again. XD Misa has gotten better in leading and giving commands, good job. =)

Our last party also managed to secured Squagul last 5 minutes, after defeating Neo and finally we fought with a few guilds that came into our castles at HongLou and Hohen after the war ended. XD

I would say it was a pretty easy war, not much challenges yet. All we could do is just to wait, waiting for those who promised that they will bring down ROC one day to actually do it. Meanwhile, we will just move towards our aims, set histories in this server, improve ourselves from every single war experience... It takes lots of effort and sacrifices to be the best and it doesn't just stop there. XD

Xmas Event

Finally free to actually write something. =p Due to the fact that I did not attend last Friday's WoE, I won't be updating on that, since I am not sure what exactly happened except for some members betrayed our guild. T_T Most probably, I will skip the next WoE too, which is on tomorrow... Wonder why? Well... That's what I gonna talk about. XD

Christmas is approaching, Gameflier launched a Xmas event for RO players to have some fun while gaming. Apparently, this event has been running for the past year's Christmas as well and it's pretty nice. =) The main cities have been decorated with nice and cute Christmas decoration and there's snow falling when you walked in the city, so beautiful. XD Every major city look like Lutie now, which is a special city near Al de Baran that is based on a Christmas theme.

Besides the wonderful change of look, there's double experience event for Prontera server, which is the server I am in, how nice! Everyone is taking this chance to gain as many experience as possible, battle manual which gives player a 1.5x experience boost has its price raised so fast that I have lost track of the current price now, life insurance which prevent losing experience and items upon death is also popular, in fact, I am using that because I cannot effort to lose 5% at this level... =( This is also the reason why I and major of the players in Prontera server chose to skip the two WoE during this double experience event from 21 December (Friday) to 26 December (Wednesday). I am actually aiming to be at least level 98, but it's really really hard to get that... >_<

Then, there are quests for players to obtain Santa's Clothing, Santa's Beard and Hair Style Coupon, pretty cool isn't it? I have yet to do the quests, still busy leveling and all... But I would really like to experience wearing the Santa's Clothing, looks so cute! Hehe... The Santa's Beard gives a nice defense, hopefully the effect will remain after the event is over. XD Hair Style coupon is pretty much self-explanatory... You get to switch to a new hair style for free, time for a make over? Hahaha...

I am gonna join the fun and start exploring the quests next week~ After the double experience event is over, hehe... Hopefully it would be a great experience. =)

Yesterday's war was quite special, ROC got attacked by RCN, TLG, NEO and Slayers at Hohen for the entire session. We were all forced to stay inside the castle and defend against bunch of enemies coming in, really a lot! I only played for the first hour like usual, but it's quite nice, get to see other guilds in action, get to see my guild mates working hard to kill off everyone that came into the emperium room. XD

TLG is as strong as ever, been able to tank our pre-cast for the longest time, spamming potions while trying to move forward. We saw a few KOS members in their guild, I guess KOS has begin to accept the fate of their fall? Who knows... I personally think it's a good idea, because everyone has a common aim, why not join forces and merge as one... Fame and glory can be gained together under a new shine, why everyone has to be so stubborn and cannot put down their personal ego for the greater benefit?

RCN has a new logo, golden-colored, though the shape is still the same, but the color change makes the guild logo more outstanding than ever, I personally like it more than the old one. In terms of power, I think they are still lacking of some tank forces and teamwork. Some members are still weak and couldn't survive long enough to aid the other members, one by one, all being sent back to their save point.

NEO did some really outstanding stuff that no one have ever done before in Prontera server. They use bots to defend our castle entrance, not ordinary bots... The amount of bots can match with a normal guild in this server, it's kind of scary when you see them standing at the entrance, filling up all the spaces... They tried to push through us as well, but I guess they are lack of man power, bots just aren't sufficient to fight us. XD

Slayers did came to Hohen, but frankly, I don't really see them around, maybe just 1 or 2 members and according to my guild mates, they are helping us at the entrance as well, why not join forces with the rest and push through our pre-cast together? Putting the whole guild at the entrance is just a waste of time and resources.

For the entire hour I played, we did went out a few times, to ADB 6 and ADB 4... But not much to talk about as there's no challenge there and we got summoned back after a few minutes. =/ Attacking castles in war is always fun because you get to fight with other players, but defending could be fun as well if the enemies are strong enough to give you a challenge. I am looking forward to the future wars, hopefully we can feel more forces in our enemies. =p

As for screenshots, I didn't manage to get any, because I was trying to capture video clips, it turned out to be quite bad because the screen captured keep blinking, I am not sure why but I am gonna test it again and hopefully able to capture some nice moments of wars to show everyone. =)

Making Silk Ribbon

Note: All information provided in this post is based on eRO Prontera server, it might not be applicable for other servers out there.

I noticed most players around Prontera server doesn't know how to get Silk Ribbon, pet accessory for Lunatic, which is very easy... Don't need to buy using iMall points at all, all you need is 800z. Here is a simple guide on how to make Silk Ribbon for your Lunatic pet if you happen to have one. =)

Part 1 - Get the ingredients.
The item needed to make a Silk Ribbon is 1 Ribbon, non-slotted. If you already have this, you can jump to Part 2.

Firstly, go to Payon's Weapon Shop at 9 o' clock direction, marked red in the minimap.


Then, click on the Armor Dealer, buy a Ribbon which only cost 800z, without discount.



Part 2 - Making Silk Ribbon.
After having your ribbon (make sure it's non-slotted or you will not be able to make silk ribbon), go to Al de Baran's inn at the 5 o' clock direction, marked red in the minimap.


Then, look for the Pets adopting NPC and talk to him. Select the option "Order 'Silk Ribbon'" and click next all the way.



By the end of the conversation, you should have gotten your Silk Ribbon.

This NPC also provides another pet accessories such as:

• Skull Helm for Baphomet Jr. - Require 1 Bone Helm.
• Monster Oxygen Mask for Chonchon, Steel Chonchon and Hunter Fly - Require 1 Oxygen Mask.
• Stellar Hairpin for Petite - Require 1 Star Dust.
• Tiny Egg Shell for Picky - Require 1 Egg Shell.
• Rocker Glasses for Rocker - Require 1 Masquerade, 1 Ribbon and 400z.

I have been really busy for the entire weekend, couldn't find a time to update until now. =(

Last Friday, Nottie and I went to meet up with a few guildmates for WoE, Stacyer, Patrick, Kebby, Arzon, Kenny and Kamal. Initially, we are planning to meet up and game at ZoneX so we went to look for another CC nearby... The CC does not allow players to access their hard drive, so I didn't have any screenshots to show. =(

As for the war, it's quite nice for me at certain points, especially when we are attacking other castles with enemies around. Some hot castles that night were Squagul, Prt middle and Adb 6. Since not much players came to Hohen, we went out and explore and take over castles around the city of al de baran. Adb 6 is the most interesting one as Neo, the defending guild, has tons of bots waiting for enemies to come, however, with proper counter, we manage to take down the bots easily... >_> It was fun though, bullying the bots, haha!

Then we also visited Squagul, RCN and KOS has the most players in there, fought with them a few times, not too hard. =p Proper attacking strategies owns, hehe. Then, a few of my friends who is sitting beside me went to Prt mid castle. Just 2 High Wizard, I think, keep casting Storm Gust and killing off people, lol... I can hear their laughter even it's far away. XD

Overall, a good war, with some additional spies when some guild mates provoked Neo and had a big megaphone fight. Haha, everyone is just too rich, spamming megaphones like no tomorrow. =p

After the war, we went for dinner at mamak, chat until 12am and finally went back home. It was nice, able to play together and talked about so many things, it's also very tiring at the same time, lol.

Ragnarok: Bots vs Handplays

Kinda weird feeling when I have to start writing a blog post back =_= And it's for Ragnarok Online Game some more, bleh ... Oh well..

But then, as title above, bots in Ragnarok is something I find it truly interesting, or sometimes the next best thing ever created after McFlurry. For those who are uninformed what bots is (which I doubt which idiots dunno what is bots =_=), they are some sort software applications designed to take over the tasks of human players automatically and sometimes, they are called Transformers in Prontera Server though, lol. But how it works is still the same, bot. Rinse and repeat.

Of course, some players really despise the overpopulated botters in Ragnarok, causing them hard time to level up and looting items. Leaving aside hatred, deep inside those anti-botters, they are feeling envious of all the rares and high levels botters are getting, compared to manual handplay. I mean, it's a hard cold fact that bots don't have to need to rest, eat, sleep like normal humans do. All they need is 0.1% of your CPU resources to do its work. The truth is painful to those anti-botters out there =p.

Bleh, lazy to type more. Conclusion, no bots = no players = GG Gameflier. Take care till next entry.

The Promise of Love

Marriage system is yet another special thing in RO, people meet online, hang out together and eventually wish to be together forever, just in game maybe... XD I believe this system is wonderful, not only romantic but it's really useful to help players in leveling. Having the sacrifice skills and the summon skills make things so much simpler and less burden. Priest is always the best mate to get married with, as the sacrifice skill allows Priest to transfer SP to the partner, being the fastest SP regeneration character in RO, isn't that just perfect for any Hunter, Assassin, Knight or any fighting class character to be coupled with a Priest? =)

Many players nowadays marry their own characters just for that purpose, you will save up a lot not needing to buy any SP regen items and you won't need to rest to wait for your SP to regen, just use the skill! So convenient. XD

As for Nottie and me, since both of us are couple in real and in game, getting married is something everyone thought will happen real fast. However, I am not sure why as well, we didn't think about that until recently. The idea came when we had problems with leveling and need to constantly use up plenty of SP regen items, so might as well just go to the church, do the quest and get married, right? XD

On 8 December 2007, around midnight... After getting 2 diamond rings, a tuxedo and a wedding dress, both of us head to the church, registered and finally get married! Haha, just the two of us there, talking to the Father, making promises just like real marriage, seems so nice to me... After that, we went to Jawaii, the honeymoon island in RO where only married couples can visit. This is not the first time I have been to Jawaii, I went there many times in pirate servers, but it's still nice, I like the map... XD

We walked around the island, took picture and all, bought some wedding soviniers from the NPCs there but those things seems not really useful, lol... The walking speed is so slow, we spent quite some time just to walk around the island, not used to it... Haha... XD After that, we went back to Prontera and waited for the hour to pass so that we can return to normal and go leveling (botting) again. We tried out the skills, sacrifice SP and HP and summoning partners, hehe...

I had fun, although it's just one hour, but it's fun, that's what playing game about, right? Have fun and relax! =)

11 December 2007 WoE

War of Emperium (WoE) is the most important thing in RO, that's what keeping the players around and that's when you can actually see real human players online. XD

Today's war is quite good, I only played for 1 hour as I have other matter to attend to on Tuesdays. ROC is still holding Hohen, aiming to build the second level 100 castle in the server. As usual, we were ecalled at 7pm in the emperium room, waiting for enemies to approach us.

Perhaps it was a public holiday, not many guilds came... We change from defending mode to attacking mode and visit castles around the town. =) It is fun to kill other guilds off when they are defending, haha...

We visited quite many castles, from ADB to Payon and to Prontera~

My RO Journey

Finally done changing the template, nice or not? Haha...

Let's start with a simple introduction of myself and how RO came into my life. XD

My RO journey started around 4 years ago, when my classmates in college introduced me to this game. Initially, I wasn't very interested, but after trying the game for an hour, I basically got addicted to it, I love it so much, every single thing of the game, especially the cute characters, headgears, NPCs, monsters, etc... From that day onwards, I got hooked up to RO, playing day and night, sacrificing sleeping times... One fine day, the hosting company, Gameflier, decided to make this game into Pay-to-Play (P2P), I was so sad and because I don't wanna pay so much for a game, I quitted along with all my friends.

Ever since then, I have played a few other games here and there, including DotA which makes Warcraft II popular again. I became so excited and happy when I knew about the new RO free server, which doesn't require any monthly payment. I quickly registered myself and tell my friends about it. Some of them joined with me, wanna experience the fun of RO again, most of them is already inactive by now though... =(

Like most people in Prontera server right now, I started off as a Level 1 Novice, together with another novices at that time... It's so fun killing porings and drops together, lol... Slowly, I became an Acolyte, together with my lovely darling, Nottie, we train every night, explore many places, died countless times and emo over it every time... =p It is really really hard to level up here, no teleportation to spam, half experience of the normal server, weapons drop and 5% experience penalty upon death... After struggling for a month or two, both of us finally became Priest and Monk! XD

We continued leveling as usual, when we reached level 70+, leveling has became so dull and boring, we switched to botting instead... Slowly, we learned how to operate bots properly, how to command them to perform actions based on different situations... Right now, Nottie is so familiar with OpenKore and macros that he is so proud of himself. =__=

On the first day of War of Emperium, we both joined a guild named Exc|usive's Dope. It's a nice and friendly guild, everyone chats a lot, we joke around and gradually became friends. =) We conquer castles, attack other guilds, kill other players, get to know some other guilds and became friends... One day, mi|k, my guild leader, decided to join force with one of our ally guild, Reign of Chaos and together we formed Reign of Cyrus.

From that day onwards, we conquer so many castles and kill countless players, at the same time, defended HongLou really well... Finally, together with Reign of Caesar and Reign of Cavalry, we became the strongest guild and also the most evil guild in the whole server. =p

Lots of events happened through out the few months... Right now, I am still level 96 and Nottie is level 97, trying to level as fast as possible, we both wanna reborn! Hehe... Typed so long, lol... Hope you didn't fall asleep reading. XD

Welcome to my little blog of memories in Ragnarok Online. =)

Since I have been playing RO for a while now, I guess it's good to blog about things in RO as well... Rather than mixng them up with my personal blog, I think it's better to have a seperate one, not all my friends plays RO, don't wanna bore them with my RO posts there, lol...

So anyways, I will try to update this blog as often as possible, together with screenshots and all, look forward to it ya! XD
