I would like to also thank a few people that have help both of us a lot through out the time... Arzon for borrowing us the armies, Patrick for tanking us from High Novice to High Acolyte and my lovely guild mates for supporting us all the while. XD Hopefully we will be able serve my guild better in the future. As for now, we won't be attending wars, hopefully can faster change to High Priest and Champion. XD

Episode 11.2 - Veins - Thor Volcano

A quick update! I didn't attend war on Tuesday, so I won't be able to talk about it, feedbacks from guild mates are quite normal, everyone is quite busy since we have to keep running around between Aldebaran and Prontera now. However, things have definitely gotten better since last week, some weak points have been fixed and our teamwork has improved as commented by my fellow guild mates, so I guess it's a good war for ROC. =)

Put that aside, a new update is coming soon, tomorrow actually... in Prontera and Sara server. Episode 11.2 - Veins - Thor Volcano is finally here in Malaysia. XD This update is pretty interesting as people is already very excited and looking forward to meet the new monsters, particularly, the new MVP, Irfit, which is very powerful and very hard to kill. With limited number of Creators, Paladins, Professors and other 2nd Advanced Jobs in Prontera, it would be hard for us to actually kill it but we are defnitely going to try that out, it's always fun to explore new things like that. XD Hopefully my character would be ready by then.

There are so much more stuff being introduced, like the new city - Veins, the new dungeon - Thor Volcano, new systems, new card combos, new monsters, new npcs, new quests... So many to explore, hopefully everyone will be able to experience the brand version tomorrow, provided everyone has already purchased or downloaded the new version... I have gotten mine from a nearby Cyber Cafe yesterday and installed it, looking forward to the new patch. XD

The DVD pack of Episode 11.2 - Veins - Thor Volcano cost RM4.80, consists of 1 DVD, 30 iMall points and a brief guide, inside a box... It's good to get one and just share it with friends, I always do that, hehe... Download might take some time but it's good for those who don't have DVD-ROMs or for those who live far away. There's already links uploaded for players somewhere, look for them.

Boo~

Moving on, yesterday I was quite lucky to finish work early, so I get to attend WoE around 7.30pm. =) For the first time I joined Cavalry, hehe, a total new experience for me, I get to fight along with different people, looking at different styles of attacking and defending, I learned a lot yesterday.

Since we have tried to take on a new challenge to defend 2 castles at the same time, both Chaos and Cavalry now is tied up and we couldn't really run around freely to hunt for food. It's the first time we ever tried to defend Squagul from enemies, so there's lots and lots of things to be discovered and to be improved on. Things are pretty boring in Squagul since there isn't much people visiting the castle, I wonder why... Hmm... Whatever reasons people have, those are just excuses to me, if you really wanna take up the challenge to break RoC, then do it and don't complain when you fail. RoC never complain that our enemies are too strong when we lose in fights, we just learn and improve and fight again. =)

Before the war ends, we went to Hong Lou to have a little fun, trying to break through whatever guilds that are defending the place, after all since RoC has given up the castle, lots of guilds love to defend this castle. XD Fights happened everywhere, as long as there are enemies. It's pretty fun, hehe...



Preparing to go into the emperium room, saw some juicy enemies... XD Really lots of people and action, love this kind of scenes.



Lots of enemies, what should I do? Go out? Haha... It's ok, just tank because reinforcements will come, and it did came! Trust your members. XD

After a lot of fighting, killing and dying, I think we didn't get the castle, or did we?, Not really sure because I was too excited and having fun, haha... Didn't went into the emperium room to see what's going on, surrounded by enemies everywhere, got to remove them before moving on... Hmm, it's definitely a new experience for me to work with new team members, their fight styles is quite different from my regular teammates, hopefully I will get more chances to learn and adapt to various teams, more knowledge, more skills, more flexibility, more contribution. =)

15 January 2008 WoE

Since I don't have much time during the weekdays, so I guess from now on I will update only on the weekends, for both WoEs if I manage to attend them. =)

Tuesday's WoE is normal for me, I manage to join the fight only around 8.30pm. XD Hehe, but there's lots of actions everywhere since everyone is trying to secure castles for themselves at that time. I noticed a few new guild names, though didn't had a chance to fight them, I guess those guilds have some potential since they are made out of few disbanded guilds.



Inside Hohen, someone is trying his luck I guess, hehe... Not much actions here since no guilds tried to push in seriously, just a few people here and there, off and on...



In Squagul, helping Cavalry to kill all enemies that is trying to break through... Testing phase of our defense, I would say we learned some new stuff here and will definitely improve on them. Hehe, a lot of visitors for the entire war I heard, so I guess this castle is pretty exciting!

After 30 seconds of fighting, we managed to save Squagul. =) Nice try.



After war, got summoned to lots of castles to fight, haha... Pretty fun, even in PvPs! Too bad got to go dinner after that. =/

Overall the war is filled with actions, but some said it was pretty dull as there isn't much challenge yet in terms of power. Well, I would say "the higher your expectation of your enemies, the more disappointed you are" at this point of time mainly due to the guilds reforming and such, it's a very messy condition as there's not much teamwork being displayed, still rely on the leaders heavily... I guess we just gotta wait again, hate waiting though, lol...

8 January 2008 WoE

This is my first WoE in year 2008, I missed the previous ones because I was helping Nottie to rush his level 99. However, I didn't manage to attend the entire session, work work and work... T_T

Well, this WoE is meaningful to all RoC members as we have finally achieve our mission to defend the second level 100 castle in Prontera server and the honorable castle that shares its glory with us is Hohen. We are also very eager to see what other guilds would do to stop us as this is the last chance, everyone has high hopes since there's a lot of big changes these few weeks, saw a few guilds breaking and joining some newly formed guild.

The result of war? Pretty boring. What happened was, although we have visitors like the usual TLG and gang, there's not much difference... They just come in, push as far as they could, got pushed back out, come again... Repeating the process over and over again. This time, most of us couldn't just sit at the emperium room so we all moved out to the entrance and defend, more fun this way because the bots won't kill all the food, we get to kill all. =) Risky but fun, what's more important than having fun in a game? Hehe...

I joined the war around the last 30 minutes when every single guild is trying their best to secure a castle for themselves, a "home" for everyone until the next WoE, we do the same... Going to various castle as instructed by the leaders. I went to Hong Lou and took part in a few fights with RCN, NEO and Mythos. XD

Coming to kill us?

Entrance has most action going on as people keep going in and coming out to fight, it was fun, to tank and to support. I can even survive from a champ's asura, lol! I am sure he looked down on a mere priest, didn't regen a lot of SP to asura me. Ah well... I am so glad that I have good teammates, always come to my rescue when I got gang banged by lots of people. XD Lucky I didn't die before they came, thanks to the pots and my safety wall! The only way to describe my feeling is fun fun and fun! What's more fun than killing a bunch of people with just a SinX and a priest? Haha...

Hohen level 100 by RoC.

By the end of war, we got Hohen, our second level 100 castle, also the second level 100 castle in the server. =) They even gathered and took a family picture together, I wasn't there because I went for dinner. T_T The picture is really nice though, nice to see all my lovely partners and guildmates, we fought together for such a long time already and we all know and understand each other more than anyone else.

RoC noob? RoC losers? Well, RoC just created another legend in Prontera server, which you can't, that makes you worse than a noob and a loser? Cool, I'm lovin' it.

Surprise Xmas Quest

It's not about WoE, simply because I have skipped the last two wars. T_T So I doubt I could talk about them much since I am not there to experience it myself, hopefully I will have time to play WoE next week. =/

As for now, here's a short guide on a Christmas quest that I accidentally discovered on the other day when I was trying to find ways to use the Red sock with Hole at Lutie. This quest is pretty simple and repeatable, most importantly, it's rewarding! Worth spending some time to do it. XD Here goes~

Isite

First, go to Lutie and look for Isite at xmas 137 233, talk to her and she will threaten you to help her sick brother in the Santa's house.

Isire

So, go inside the house and talk to Isire at xmas_in 109 109, Isite's brother, and he will tell you that he needs to finish up his job to buy her little sister a present. He will mention about Rednyre and his job in the conversation.

Go out of the house, look for Rednyre at xmas 138 140, near the big Christmas tree. He is furious and he needs Isire to send firewoods to people, at the end of the conversation, he will need you to prepare 20 wooden blocks.

Talk to Rednyre again when you have 20 wooden blocks in your inventory and he will ask you to send them to four different people in the xmas village. The location of the four people will be marked red in your minimap and you need to go to them in the anti-clockwise way, starting from the east.

Pellys

At the east side, talk to Pellys at xmas 168 160.

Navidad

Then head to the North for Navidad at xmas 113 273.

Joyeux

After that go to the west to look for Joyeux at xmas 119 155.

Noej

Finally, go to the South to send the firewoods to Noej at xmas 157 126.

Return to Rednyre after you send all the firewoods (wooden blocks) and he will give you three items, packing paper, packing ribbon and a gift box, and ask you to pass those items to Isire.

Go to the Santa's house and talk to Isire, he will be surprise to see you helping him, named yourself when he ask about your identify, any words or letters is acceptable.

Then, he will ask you for another help, to give him any doll you have so that he can put it into the gift box and give it to his sister.

Show him any dolls you have, choose the doll you want to give to him from the menu and he will reward you accordingly.

Based on my own experience, here are the list of dolls and corresponding rewards...
Dolls that can be bought from Doll Merchants in town:

• Poring Doll - Cookie bag x 3, Fruit of Mastela x 1
• Chonchon Doll - Cookie bag x 3, Fruit of Mastela x 1
• Stuffed Doll - Cookie bag x 3, Fruit of Mastela x 1

• Spore Doll - Cookie bag x 3, Fruit of Mastela x 1, Cheese x 3

After giving Isire the doll and got your reward, go back to Isite. She will be grateful for your hard work and she will reward you with a Santa's bag. This is the end of the quest, to start all over again, talk to Isite again.

To know what those items can do, simply look them up on ratemyserver, it's quite nice. XD There's a few more days for everyone to do the quest, quickly exchange the dolls for something with more money value and more useful. =)
