Lil' Valentine's Event & WoE SE

I have been inactive in RO lately due to a few reasons, mainly because my character is botting still. =( Well, I expect it to be ready soon so I can join back WoE with my guild members, missed so many WoE, a little left out lol. The other reason would be work as lately I have been working until late night, and currently involved in a new online project with a bunch of friends, I will talk about that later. XD

As for now, let's talk about some updates in Prontera server. Following the CNY event, there's another event for Valentine's Day, though most people say it's just a waste of time, haha... I have yet to try it myself, couldn't find a suitable time to explore the quest yet, but I will surely do that before the event ends. =) Anyway, the full event details could be found in the official site, which is here. There's like so many parts for it and so many steps... I bet it will take up some time. I guess I would tell my experience after I do the quest haha, as for now, if anyone could share their experience or tell me some tips to take note, it would be good. XD

The next big thing to expect in March for Prontera server is the War of Emperium Second Edition, in Short WoE SE. It is a new update from Gravity, having new castles for WoE. The concept of this WoE changed a lot as this involves more team play instead of solo. There's only very limited information given by the officials, so all we could do is wait until they released the patch and try it out ourselves! For the WoE SE detail, do visit this site and read through it. I am definitely looking forward to it, hehe... Hopefully I will be able to allocate time for the war by then. =)

Chinese New Year Quest

Other than having fun with family and friends during this Chinese New Year, RO do offer some rewards through the CNY quest too. It's very straight forward and simple to do compared to other quests around. Quest information can be obtained here.

Here's my little experience and extra information sharing, other than what is stated in the website, I got to know all these when I did the quest a while ago. =)

Firstly, you will need an item named "Rice Pouch" which can be obtained from Tarou, Cramp and Mole during the event period. 1 Rice Pouch for 1 reward, the quest can be repeated.

Then, proceed to Payon town, go to the inn there and look for Rice Mill Grandma at payon_in01 185 30. Talk to her and she will tell you that all her rice got stolen.

Talk to her again with Rice Pouch in your inventory and she will ask you to bring them to her son, Rice Mill Son, outside the inn.

Then talk to the son and he will transform Rice Pouch to Sweet Rice, bring it back to the grandma and she will reward you randomly with some special items. From what I got, things that is possible to obtain through this quest are:

• Korean Rice Cake
• Fruit Cookie
• Tea Cookie
• Ang Pau
• New Year Doll Egg

New Year Doll is actually the female version of Chung-E, I got one out of the 200 Rice Pouch I have exchanged... Gotta try more soon, before the event ends. Thanks to my little macro that I don't have to keep walking and clicking, hehe... XD Good luck!
