21 March 2008 WoE

Boo~

Before I forget, let's talk about the normal WoE I managed to attend last Friday, hehe... Well, it has been a long time since I attend one WoE, busy with work and other commitments... So long that we have actually switch castles to defend and yet I have never step in the castle until Friday, lol... I do see new faces around since Chronicles was formed, didn't really have any chance to get to know all of them though, the only time we actually meet is during war which everyone is so busy holding their positions.

I bet most people still prefer the normal WoE compared to WoE SE, I can see a huge difference on the amount of players challenging us... Well, there are so many reasons for that but it's up to each and every individual I guess, it's a game where everyone should have fun in their own way. =) For the start of the war, I have been a few castles, quite busy defending different castles in different town lol.... Since I do not have a permanent team, I just do my best to help out whichever team that needs a hand, so I basically went to all the castles that we are holding, lol...

In HongLou, SOS is trying their luck.

Geffen, got EC suddenly and receive an order to push out...

I spotted SOS Leader, trying to EC?

Fight at the entrance of HongLou with SOS.

EC at the portal or something?

Photobucket
EC behind us this time...

Photobucket
I was chatting and a whole bunch of SOS came.

Looking for food...

Pushing out again.

Photobucket
Overpowered?

Photobucket
Wow, almost the whole guild is here.

Our castle was broken once because of unstable connection but we managed to get it back after that, now we learn our lesson to put a few more defenders instead of just one. XD I enjoyed the entire two-hours war, learn a lot of stuff, I don't really play my High Priest anymore so I can actually feel my skills are getting rusty, lol... Well, hopefully I will be able to join the fun and excitement this week!

19 March 2008 WoE SE

Boo~

Late update but well, here it is, the first WoE SE after the bug fix. Castles were reset to normal after maintenance and my guild took the effort to actually break all three castles around noon. I didn't get to join the fun until 8pm at night but it was ok, the entire hour was fun as well, and blur at the same time lol...

There are 3 castles available to fight in and this is my first time to actually join a real WoE SE so I was pretty lost about where should I go and what should I do. Some guild members guided me and I end up exploring one of the castles only, simply because we were chatting and fighting at the same time. XD

I went to the castle at 1 o' clock direction, I am not sure which castle is that... =psA few guilds actually visited that castle, SOS is the most active one. The castle area is really big, until now I still don't really know the way to move around, just stayed at the entrance to defense for the entire hour. The guardians introduced in this WoE SE is very powerful, which made most attacking guilds pissed off I guess, because they were killed by the guardians instead of us most of the time, lol.

Photobucket
Fight with SOS near the entrance.

Photobucket
AC was there too.

Photobucket
Such a big area to fight, can actually hide at a corner...

Photobucket
Back to the entrance.

Photobucket
The gay guardians, lol.

At the end of the war, all castles remained in ROC's hand which is very surprising, we didn't expect to be able to hold all the three castles for two hours, unbroken. I bet everyone is complaining and whining about how unfair it is to let ROC hold all the castles but well, we did earn them with our own effort, not that it drops from the sky or something... XD

Will update on the normal WoE tomorrow, hopefully.

11 March 2008 WoE

Boo~

It's late but here's some sreenshots for WoE last Tuesday which I attended for an hour. XD Overall, it's just another normal WoE, nothing special to talk about because there isn't much enemies around or anything happening at all. Things has gotten a little boring nowadays compared to the older days, I feel that it isn't so crucial anymore whether we consistently perform as expected because there isn't a challenge to begin with.

Since I came online after an hour, I expected to see people walking around busy with castles and all, but I am surprised to see people sitting down and chat while waiting for EC, haha... Really nothing to do. I am glad that I managed to talk to some guild mates for a while though, hehe... Miss all of them so much, miss the days we used to fight together very hard. =p

Here are some screenshots I took, during some castle siege... The people who actually put up a good fight is getting lesser, especially after part of SOS, ex-TLG members joined ROC as well. I am glad they do, welcome them with open hands, but this means that the only enemy that we acknowledge to be good is not our ally. Lol, so what are we going to do?

Photobucket
NEO's defense, broken very easily without even one person dying.

Photobucket
Met with ED at ADB, not much though...

Photobucket
Hong Lou, some old old memories... The logo looks nice. XD

Photobucket
Fight with GA at the entrance.

Photobucket
Visit NEO again, did the same thing again.

Photobucket
Finally saw SOS while chatting, lol...

I heard from my guild mates that most WoE nowadays are like that, including the Friday's one which I missed, which is kinda sad, hmm... Let's see how things goes on from here, perhaps with so many new games popping out, old games just won't attract people as much as before. =/ Still, I will try to attend future WoE since it has been such a long time I have play RO.

Back to Work with WoE SE!

Boo~

It has been some time... XD I went inactive since I reborn, can't really do much with an advanced first job and this few weeks I have been busy with a lot of other stuff in life, I do miss WoE at times especially when my guild members told me how exciting and fun is the war. So now, I am back!

Photobucket
Nottie and Sillie. =p

Hehe, finally became High Priest, though it took longer than expected, lol... Starting from now onwards I will start to attend wars if I could, working times are irregular these days. =/ To kick things off, today is the first war of WoE SE in eRO, everyone was so excited and looking forward to this day where 3 new castles are opened for players to fight, that includes me.

I was lucky that I managed to reach home and go online around 8pm but it seems that everyone in the guild has went off... The reason being WoE SE doesn't allow players to kill enemies in castles, the only thing that one could do is to break the emperium which is pretty boring and pointless. I don't know whether this is a bug or it was meant to be like that for the first war, it's still pretty lame to have such a thing happened on the launch date of WoE SE. I am quite disappointed with this implementation and I do hope that the next war on Saturday is not this lame again...

Regardless, since I went online, might as well just explore the new castles for a bit. It's really big, compared to the normal castles, have to walk quite far to reach the emperium room. The map looks cool but I have no chance to experience the new system at all since it is not working the way it suppose to be... =_=

Photobucket
The emperium...

After that, we all got bored, most of the people already went offline and some went to PvP to look for some excitement after being so disappointed with WoE SE. =( The rest just sat down and chat, no serious fights at all. However, I find some guilds are actively killing the emperium, I seriously don't find any fun in killing an emperium for 2 hours... =_= Oh well...

Let's see how things goes this Saturday.
